I recently sat down with Josh Flagg, the Beverly Hills luxury realtor and “Million Dollar Listing” star to chat about his travels. So why Josh Flagg, why discuss travel with a realtor? Josh has a unique view as a traveler having experienced so much of the world staying in luxury hotels and visiting many destinations people can only dream of.

How many countries have you visited?
Josh: 53 countries.

Do you have a favorite destination? How many times have you been?
Josh: My favorite destination is hands down, Paris, France. I’ve been twenty times.

What is your favorite hotel? Why?
Josh: The George V in Paris... the service is impeccable.

What is one destination you'll never go back to? Why should we avoid it?
Josh: Whitefish, Montana... there is nothing to do.

Is there a destination that you've always wanted to visit, but never have?
Josh: no, I’ve been everywhere I want.

Do you book your own travel or do you use a travel agent or agency?
Josh: both, I actually enjoy searching for my own travel, but I do use an agency as well.

Have you ever flown in coach/economy class?
Josh: coach, yes if there was no room in a better class.

What is the one item you can't travel without?
Josh: sleeping medication.

When traveling on a long flight, how do you pass the time?
Josh: I drink.

What is the best travel tip you know?
Josh: Ask for an upgrade. It never hurts to ask.

Have you ever stayed at an all-male resort?
Josh: No.

Does the term gay-friendly or gay owned & operated impact your decisions when traveling?
Josh: No.

When was the last vacation you took? Where did you go and why?
Josh: The last trip I took was to New York for a book signing.
