Pacific Science Center

Designed by Minoru Yamasaki, who also designed New York's World Trade Center, the Pacific Science Center is the first U.S. museum founded as a science and technology center. The Pacific Science Center houses displays on space exploration to dinosaurs, has laser shows, plus there's a planetarium. The Science Center's IMAX Theater shows wildlife films and other interesting 3D films. There is also a tropical butterfly house and insect exhibit. The Pacific Science Center is open Tuesday – Friday from 10am – 5pm and 10am – 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. They are closed on Monday’s. Prices for the Science Center range from $5 to $15 depending on you visit.
