New York City…There is no other place quite like it! It is known as a must visit all over the world, The Fashion, the theatre, advertising and the arts have perpetuated New York into one of the most gay friendliest cities in the world.

Those visiting New York City will find the most jaw-dropping hotels, including all of the most popular brands and hip/urban boutique hotels along with a bunch of gay owned accommodations. New York City offers the most dining choices anywhere, include four star gourmet restaurants with world-renowned chefs, ethnic restaurants, original New York style Delis, New York pizzerias and the most amazing bakeries. While you’re in New York City you should be sure to visit all the attractions the city has to offer. You may find there is more then you can see in a few short days.  The gay traveler will find they love to shop for designer items on New York's world renowned 5th Avenue. You have to be sure to take in a Broadway show while you’re here. When you’re all done seeing the sights, head over to party the night away at New York's hot clubs. After it’s all said and done, you’ll be planning your next visit to come back and get more of this amazing city.

While in NYC, you have to be sure to visit Greenwich Village. The village is home to the largest gay and lesbian population in the city. There are many great LGBT owned hotels and B&B’s in this area along with the rest of the city. The brownstone architecture of most of the houses is a sight to see, especially from those visiting from the west. With all of the lower style buildings it is one of the most sun filled neighborhoods making it ideal for a nice stroll. Greenwich Village is also home to the nation’s largest Halloween Parade in Washington Square Park.  In the commercial areas, you will find cafes and restaurants of all kinds. You will find so many boutiques, with all the hippest styles. Be sure to visit Christopher Street, the site of the historic clash (in front of the Stonewall Bar) in 1969 between city police and gay men, marking the beginning of the gay rights movement. Once you have enjoyed the food and shopping and the sun has set Greenwich Village comes alive with sounds from late-night coffeehouses, cafés, experimental theaters, and music clubs.

In NYC you can also find some of the hottest and hippest Gay and Lesbian bars and clubs. If you have ever had the pleasure to meet a true NYC club kid I am sure you remember it. You will be blown away by the people, the music and the sights in these hot clubs.

Once you have enjoyed the “gayest” part of the NYC, you must get around and visit everything else this amazing city has to offer. There is much more to see just in Manhattan it’s self. But if you are able to get out of this borough there is much more to see in Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island.

If you are in the area long enough there are some other MUST see/do’s while you’re in the “Big Apple”. You can take a ride and check out The Hamptons, a posh vacation destination all on its own. All of Long Island is filled with wonderful beaches and great restaurants. With so many things in the immediate area you will find yourself coming back to New York City time and time again.
