	Massachusetts Introduces 1st U.S. Domestic LGBT Travel iPhone Application Tuesday, April 23, 2010 12:47:19 PM BOSTON, April 12, 2010. The Massachusetts Office of Travel + Tourism (MOTT), the state agency dedicated to promoting the Commonwealth as a leisure travel destination, today announced the launch of its "LGBT Massachusetts iPhone Application," the first LGBT travel application launched for a U.S. domestic destination by a state tourism organization. The application was developed by Gay Consultants, Inc., and is available on www.massvacation.com/rainbow or on iTunes at: http://tinyurl.com/ydr9q3w "This new technology is a great way to share information about everything the state has to offer as well as another way to let LGBT visitors know 'it's all here for everyone'," said Betsy Wall, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Office of Travel + Tourism. "From restaurants to lodging to attractions, this iPhone app gives travelers an easy way to plan a trip and experience the Commonwealth." The LGBT Massachusetts iPhone Application allows users to: • Explore a directory of accommodations, nightlife, restaurants, events and attractions. • "Explore By Region" allowing users to browse points of interest based on areas of the state. • Search specific types of activities and attractions tailored to their lives within the "Persona's" section including: "Art Lover," "History Buff," "Sports Fan," "Outdoor Enthusiast" • Keep up to speed in the "Spotlight" section that features an event, attraction or activity for the user and includes the latest LGBT hotspots. • Stay connected with the latest LGBT happenings on their iPhone with MOTT's online blog: http://www.lgbtmassvacation.com/blog • Stay informed on the latest Massachusetts LGBT scene.
