Millennium Park
11 N Michigan Ave.,
Chicago, IL 60601

One of the most beautiful parks in the country; you can have a great time here without spending a single dollar, well unless you want to eat at some point. Cloudgate (also known as “the bean” by the locals) is an amazing piece of art, the reflections of the city, sky and people can keep your eyes glued for hours. The Crown Fountain showcases two glass block columns with LED display facing each other rotating 1,000 faces of Chicago residents at random for approximately five minutes, culminating with a pucker of the lips before a stream of water, falls onto the plaza area below.  The fountain is hugely popular with kids in the summer so if you are visiting with the family this is a great place to spend the day. Lurie Garden is a huge 2.5 acre garden with in the park and is great for a nice stroll or if you are visiting with your partner it makes for a great setting. Be sure to bring your camera as there are some great photo ops to be had all over the park.
