The capital of America's first state to legalize same-sex marriage, Boston has long been one of the most politically progressive cities in the country.  This is very evident by its highly visible Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transgender community.

Famous for its many universities, rich history, and enchantingly lit neighborhoods, Boston is a great city to visit anytime.  It feels as old-world European as any city in the United States. Boston is a compacted but nevertheless a first-rate gay destination. A wholesome performing arts scene, fantastic museums, and countless swankhotelsrestaurantsgay barsshops, and galleries round out the city's many attributes.

Boston's appeal is year-round, although summer tends to draw the utmost numbers of tourists from far and wide particularly Europe.  Fall draws travelers within driving distance who come because the city is a good base for exploring the gyrating fall foliage in the surrounding province, and because the urban areas have a number of idealistic events at this time.

There are many great additional adjacent areas in the vicinity of Boston, many other outer edges include: Charles River, Warren Avenue, Washington Street, Cambridge, Jamaica Plain, Tremont Street, Lansdowne Street and the Warren Avenue neighborhood.
