Carry-On Allowance: 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item

Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:

• Maximum Dimensions of Item 1: 21.5in x 9in x 15.5in/55cm x 23cm x 40cm (length x width x height)
• Maximum Dimensions of Item 2: 16.5in x 6in x 13in/43cm x 16cm x33 cm (length x width x height)
• Maximum Weight per Item: 22 lb/10 kg

Checked Baggage Allowance: 2 Piece

• Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height)
• Maximum Weight: 60 lb/27 kg

Excess, Overweight, Oversize Baggage Fees

Fee for each additional bag: $40 each

Fee for any bag weighing 60-100 lb: $40

Bags weighing over 100 pounds will not be accepted. If a bag is both oversize and overweight, the passenger will be charged both fees.

Fee for any bag between 63-80 in: $40
Bags exceeding 80 linear inches will not be accepted. If a bag is both oversize and overweight, the passenger will be charged both fees.

Sports Equipment

Excess, overweight and oversize baggage fees will apply. If you plan to travel with sporting equipment, contact WestJet directly to confirm packing regulations and fees.
